Homeschooling

Okay, so my oldest is only Kindergarten age... but we are all already homeschooling! On any given day, we learn about geography (a map under the tablecloth), math (doubling and halving recipes), telling time (the kitchen clock), reading, sign language, music history and appreciation, life skills, Bible, bugs, trees, and any other tidbits of knowledge that catch our interest. Young kids are full of questions, and in these early years I try to follow their lead to create a culture of learning in our home. They love to learn, and don't even realize they are doing it. The best part is, I get to learn with them.

As they grow, my desire is to shape their education to disciple them in Christlike character and prepare them for the vocation and service for which God has created them. Pray for us as we travel this incredible journey!
